Hey, I was down in McMinnville a couple of months ago, and a woman CFI at the local FBO claimed that her father or grandfather (can't remember which) had the only RG ercoupe in a hangar in independence. (same guy, huh?)
But what was really interesting, was that she claimed that they had designed a FIBERGLASS WING REPLACEMENT for the Ercoupe which they were working on getting a STC for!!!!! Anyone heard of this, or know anything about it? -Tom -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Percy Pwood Georgia Wood Sent: Tuesday, November 24, 1998 9:35 PM To: ron miller Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Interesting airplane Howdy, Ron (Miller) Got the line on that RETRACTABLE Ercoupe. 1946 415-D. I'm toying with the idea of going down to Independence, Oregon, on the way to the Oreg. Wing meeting this Sunday and having a squint. Percy in Portland BTW, Independence is a little town west of Salem, Oregon.
