P.S. to my earlier reply: By the way -- it is really important for you to buy a Coupe!
Bonanzas and similar planes are known as doctor-killers for a reason. They have the performance and require the precision of control that attracts intelligent, challenge oriented people like doctors. But doctors rarely get the practice of a professional charter/instructor pilot. Doctors get out when they can. They are usually busy. They may not fly for weeks or a couple of months. Then they go after that $100 hamburger. We should call Coupes "doctor-savers" because, with Coupes, the plane pretty much never turns around and bites your head off. You still must excercise good judgement and skill, but with a Coupe, the plane is not your enemy. Since you are in med school, be warned: Your chance of living long enough to pay off those medical school loans and enjoy being filthy rich is greatly enhanced by flying the Coupe. -- Ed Burkhead East Peoria, Ill.
