Well,

I measured my old windows to get this value but my LP Aero Plastics
catalog (Catalog #195-P49) also shows the sliding window as "19 3/4 x 31
3/16 x 0.60" I made mine a bit longer because I do not like air getting
in under the bottom when the window is up.

My mechanic rebuit my windows a year ago but reused my old top frames
which were sharpened to a blade edge. They totally tore up my window
welt. Now that I have rebuilt them correctly I need to replace the welt
also. Since I do not have the drawings here I cannot check them but I
am sure if the drawings showed .050 I would have used that instead. I
will check tomorrow when I get to the hangar.

The new ones are stiff but not too stiff to close. I rarely put my
windows up May-Oct so it is not a great problem for me.

        Dave,

.060 is quite thick... Are not the originals much thinner ??? -
and more
        flexible.

It seems I used .050 ??? or somewhat thicker than original, and
found them
difficult to move in the tracks as they were so stiff. However,
I must admit,
the top edges were so worn, they act like a knife and tend to
cut through the
welting....(That is why I suggested to the fellow looking for
parts, to
either make new ones or purchase from Univair....
Thanks for the details - I kept them for future reference.

        Regards,

        Harry
