        Ercoupes are probably all like mine. There is a large gap on each
side
between the sliding windows and the fuselage, at least a half inch.
Without
a canopy cover the rain and snow slides down the outside of the windows
and
directly inside the fuselage and down into the belly.
        I think your first priority should be to get a cover. It will
cover the
openings and prevent any water from running down inside. Even if you do
get
a hanger the cover will keep dust off the windows and is useful when
staying overnight at another airport.
        My Coupe is tied down outside. Even here in Utah we do have a
rainy, snowy
season.
