Yeah, Jack. That's what I read somewhere. To get the Ercoupe up on the step, the elevator up-limit was removed. It'd sure be nice having mine tied up to my houseboat. The island shopper newspaper shared a photo of where my floating home is now - taken in 1956. There is a hanger in it, with half a dozen planes. Sigh... Percy
