I was just thumbing through Stanley G. Thomas's
book "The Ercoupe". It's a good book on the background of the
coupe and one of the things he mentioned in the book was the Ercoach (pp.
69). According to the description in the book it was to have been a five
place pusher twin. Do any of you know anything about this aircraft?
I would be interested to hear or see anything you might have on the
subject. Also, I was wondering if anyone knows if Univair also owns the
type certificate for the A-4. And, finally, do any of you know anything
about the wooden Ercoupes (according the the book 2 flight test and 1 ground
test) produced in 1940?
I would love to hear anything you can tell, and
let me know what some of your favorite books on the Coupe might be. I'm
always trying to grow my aviation book collection and I'd appreciate any input
anyone might have.
Thanks and I hope that you all have a chance to
enjoy "Flying the coupe".
