NOON (right after the welcoming ceremony) and see some of the faces that
go with the names on this list. Okay??? (Alternate time at 8:00am just

I hope to see some of you there.

I am scheduled to fly one of the USPS (Post Office) Boeing 727 aircraft
to
Reno for public display on the 17th thru the 20th. We will open the A/C up
for
the crowd to walk through and will standby and answer questions. I have
never
been to Reno before and don't know what to expect plus I have not been to
an
Air Show with the 727 before. I think that we are expected to stay close
by
and take turns showing the plane but that we will have free time to look
around. If any of the Coupe people come by the A/C please say hello and I
will be glad to give you the 10 cent tour. It is a 727-100 that has been
modified with a Cargo door and hauls Overnight Express and Priority Mail.
We
are Category 3A landing approved (down to 50 feet ceiling and 700 feet
RVR),
we can do this because we have a Heads Up Display (HUD). We can also make
takeoffs down to 300 feet RVR. We do this hand flown without the
autopilot.
Stop by and I will show you the HUD. Just ask for me at the aircraft.
