I just bought an 1947 Ercoupe 415 CD with a Continental o-200 engine.
This
may be a dumb question, but why doesn't the original panel intercom allow
"cabin talk" and allow radio transimission. I am getting ready to buy a
new intercom but I am wondering if perhaps there is a malfunction I don't
understand.

Also, I am getting a significant amount of "dirty" bubbles out of the
nose
tank each time I preflight.. Nothing unpleasant ever comes out of the
wing tanks. I have to sump the nose tank 4-5 times to clear the water. I
am thinking of totally draining the nose tank. Do you think this would do
any good? Is a new tank the only thing that will clear up this problem?

Is the double fork nose gear a great improvement? So far I have not noted
a problem with the unilateral brace.

Please sign me up for the national club and please send me a list of the
upcoming fly-ins.
