        Probably I'm the only one in the group to really find this out. If
you
keep your Coupe smooth and shiny it flys better.
        While my Coupe was in for the Annual, my wife and I worked long
hard hours
cleaning, polishing and waxing it. We just got the plane last August and
this is the first time we have done it. My Coupe has metal wings and still
had paint and old numbers on the bottom of the wings so I spent a lot of
time removing that with Scotchguard and aluminum cleaner/polisher.
        My C-85-12 continental at our airport  (U42) elevation of 4505
above MSL
used to climb out at 2300 rpm between 200 to 300 fpm climb, now it climbs
at 400 to 500 rpm. The level flight IAS used to be around
