Hi Jack and the rest of you Ercouper's When I was sixteen in 1951 I won a bomb dropping contest here in Western Nebraska. It was in a 1946 415-C NC99136 owned by my father. This plane was destroyed later by a new owner. I flew at cruise speed a little of center to the right so I could see the target over the left wing. Holding my arm out and back against the fusalage I let the bomb go when the target went out of sight of the leading edge of the wing. Keep in mind our alt. here is 4000 ft.msl.
