A new overhaul will generally result in a little higher temps until it really gets broken in, if the engine has stabilized oil consumption then it is probably broken in and that is doubtfully a factor then. The next issue as you pointed out is the outside temp. If where you are flying is like here where it's been around and over 100 then 220 probably isn't too far off the mark. I really suspect however your baffling is not correct and/or you are having cowling leaks. I have the skyport front cowl and personally don't think it's worth the waste of money or time to install. Remember the cowl gets pressurized during flight so potential leaks may not show up when on the ground unless you stress it from the underside to simulate air pressure to see where air could leak out rather than go through the baffling in the proper fashion Good luck
