I think the Mooney Ercoupe was only produced for 2 years (check Dave's page out). There are IFR coupes out there, but I suggest an Alon or the M-10, simply because of sufficient panel space and engine driven vacuum. Sounds like you're looking to buy, so do the research! Don't make the mistake of thinking you can get away cheap by buying a coupe and upgrading it to do something it wasn't designed for. Sure, if you throw the VISA at it, you can have whatever you want, but you'll quickly find that you've spent enough to get you into a higher class aircraft. Good Luck Al
