This cadet has the Mooney tail. Does anyone know what is the best year
to buy? I'm looking around for one that is possibly IFR. Is there any
IFR Ercoupes out there?

Humm,

I know very little about M10's except that Mooney took off the twin tail
and made em so they could spin. I think an M10 is fairly close to an
Alon. Does this one have a twin tail or a Mooney tail? It may have the
Alon spring gear rather than the hydraulic trailing link gear used on
most earlier planes (which I believe is better).

You should post to the mailing list to see if someone has more
information (send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
