Jerry--
I don't think the wing tank caps have anything to do with your
nose
tank problem. I once had the same problem, not getting fuel to the nose
tank. This was after we restored the airplane. It had been sitting for
quite a while and a mud-dauber had daubed some mud in the firewall
fitting going to the nose tank. (We had neglected to cover the fitting
end with masking tape) Try disconnecting the fuel pump again and
blowing (use your mouth pressure only by attaching a rubber hose to the
fuel line) through each fuel line. You should hear the air bubbling
through the fuel in the nose tank if it is clear. If not, disconnect
the line and clear it of whatever is obstructing it. The problem may be
on either side of the firewall, or in the firewall fitting.Syd Cohen NC94196
