Hmmmmm, Jerry.
Ya know, I've had fuel siphoning problems my self - right out the
forward facing holes in the caps.
Now, as fuel drains from a tank, the resulting vacuum can allow fuel
starvation. The solution is assuring a hold in the top of the tank or
cap. It is a pre-takeoff checklist item for me. The tank that siphons
the worse has a slpit in the ring surrounding the filler hole. I think
that split, plus the air pressure in a climb, results in most of my
troubles. It only happens on nearly full tanks, and in climb mode.
New gasgets may solve your problems. They are cheap enough, but make
sure you get the right ones. There are others, quite similar, that go
on the gascolator.
Wish you luck,
