David, and others, It sounds like the answer to removing the sloshing compound, if necessary, is to replace the existing wingtanks with new 15 gal tanks and removing the header tank for more panel depth. My tanks were sloshed several years ago by previous owner, and no problems to date except one quick drain got plugged up this spring when some of the goo colagulated around it. I replaced the quick drain and, later when the new one didn't drain any better, removed the new quick drain and reamed the hole with a probe and pulled out the bit of goo blocking the drain. Works fine now, but the mere existance of the goo concerns me. Does the sloshing compound tend to separate from the metal over time?
