FOR INFORMATION
While removing the left wing tank from my coupe for cleaning, I noticed
that the fuel line running from the elbow at the bottom of the tank
inboard
to the right hand tank had been chafing against the fuselage skin. The
chafing had removed about one half of the wall thickness of the tubing.
Unfortunately it can't be inspected unless the wing root fairing is
loosend
and pulled away or the floorboard is removed. The right hand tank was OK.

As the parts catalog don't show a fuel level indicator in the left tank
and
there is one on my left tank, is this normal for the aluminum tanks???
