No competing bids were submitted and the satisfaction level was so high that the vote was to hold the 1999 Convention again at Jacksonville, Ill. Dates not yet decided.
A proposal was made by the College Park Maryland museum to host the year 2000 convention. That was approved in the vote of the members.
