Hello to the Group. My '46 415C seems to have an
overloaded electrical system. The landing/nav lights, transponder and GPS/COM
really pull some power, in fact the landing light has to be shut off for the
radio to be heard clearly. Does anyone have an alternator setup on a Continental
85? I'd really like to add a wingtip strobe setup and post lights on the panel,
but there is no way the current generator/regulator/battery will be able to
cope.
Also does anyone know a shop that can do
electrical work on a 'coupe without a lot of headshaking and laughing? A central
states location would be ideal, but I'm not picky if good work can be
had.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
