In "Fly-About" Paul states that only 2 "real" 415D's were made, and that because they had such limited elevator (9 deg) that they led to lots of hard landings.
So my question is, does the 415CD suffer from the limited 9 deg elevator? What is the degree of elevator on the 415C and 415E/F-1's/A-2s? Is the split elevator or 415 E mod worth it? Any insight appreciated. Thanks, -Tom
