There have been many mods done to Ercoupes for just that purpose!  Get in
touch
with the Ercoupe Owner's Club and Skip will give you the info you may
need.
Also, if you're in Orlando, try to attend Sun and Fun in Lakeland FL.  Its
coming up real soon.  You'll get a good idea of the folks involved in
coupes
and I'm sure more help than you'll be able to handle.  Incidentially, here
in
Teaxs there is a woman who flew a coupe for many years without the benefit
of
legs.  A remarkable woman named Alverna Williams.  Good Luck
