Jim, it sounds to me like you could be a wealth of information for us new
Alon owners.  I think 
you are right, the sliding seat started and ended with the A2-2.  I wonder
if they made a bunch 
of these parts?  I have not seen the twin engine version.  Sounds
interesting.  I think I will 
just stick with my old stock alon.

I need to buy new exhaust stacks and I think I want to go to stainless
steel.   Do you know 
anyone who carries these specifically for the Alon?  I called a couple
places in trade-a-plane 
but they didn't even supply Ercoupe, much less Alon.  A friend bought
stacks for his ercoupe 
from Wag- but they didn't fit well.  Thks.
