Howdy, Patrick. I will be helping a friend through replacing what ever it takes on his main gear this spring, and will tell list of my adventures. In the mean time, look to the usual suppliers for parts - and this list for advise.
I checked for the tail height when I bought mine. It was 6 feet plus, so
I have had no trouble. I have heard from others that raised their tail
that it does make for a more stable landing roll.
