I have yet to try a truly crabbed landing. Since I have peddles in my Alon, it hasn't been necessary (or psycologically possible) to land crabbed. I haven't experienced any major cross wind landings since I got the plane, but at least I know I can get down the center of the runway when the wind is to strong for the little rudders to hold the plane straight against the xwind. It is comforting to know that the plane, if not the pilot, can handle strong cross winds. Ken Doyle Springfield, Mo Alon N5477E
