My two cents worth on landing I learned to fly in a Tri-Pacer another plane that glides like a brick. The Ercoupe is just like the Tri-pacer I did not have any trouble adapting to the coupe, I don't let the speed get much below 80. The only thing I had trouble remembering was to keep the nose wheel planted on the ground to be able to steer. I kind of miss rudder pedals, most people I talk to say if you don't have then on your coupe it is not worth the money to install them. I have now made several landings with a mild cross wind, all have been good , but I still have a difficult time believing the next one will work when I am on final and facing sideways.
