Well that sure has been my experience! And I've not even started my wish list. Having had the alon for about 6 months now, I am finding that it will fly just great without all of the gadgets I wanted; eg, fuel meter, multiple cht/egt gauges, panel mount GPS/Com, new horizan, new directional gyro, new compass, etc. I do intend to get a transponder/encoder and some wing strobes, and hopefully a better radio, or at least one of these things, this year. In addition there are the extra magazine subscriptions, aopa dues, sun&fun/Oskosh, and the new and additional "honey-do's", haha. But it is worth it. Does anyone have the larger wing tanks, and discarded the header tank? Has it worked out ok? Worth the cost? Ken Doyle Springfield, Mo N5477E
