Tom: Congratulations on getting this e-mail forum going. The response seems quite good. It is certainly something that is needed. After reading Al's comments, I think we are better off circulating the information by other means. My recommendation is to perhaps summarize the good stuff in sort of a summary newsletter for e-mail distribution and/or publish the information on web sites. I would be happy to use some of it in our monthly newsletter that goes out to the Arizona folks plus others and include it on our web page. In any event, we should circulate the information as widely as possible to folks interested in preserving the Ercoupe heritage. I am also somewhat familiar with the Luscombe organization and it sounds like they have done well. To me it is very sad to see some of these Ercoupes sitting at airports neglected and rotting away. Personally, I think it is a great airplane and I am very much interested in seeing it survive.
Keep up the good work.
