Craig, I agree.....I should have said I remain in hangar [ putzing ] while pre-heating. By the time you've done a good pre-flight, you don't have to [ putz ] long and your ride is warmed up. I also should say that being in N. Mn., I get lots of experience with torpedo heaters. I have 4 in various BTU's and fuels.....still....I have more fire extinquishers than heaters. Someday Santa may get me a Tannis!!
