   Andy, I ask people who should know. They don’t The FAA just turn their heads. I had NC3800H  on the tail before I put her up. Was ? will paint on the wings when I rebuild her this time. Warren

Just wondering,,, how many of you have the "NC" numbers still on your flying
aircraft? I've seen a few restored Stearmans with the giant "NC****" on the
tail or wing. Keep in mind these have been repainted and the NC was put back
on. Whats the skinny on this?? I'm sure it's spelled out in the FARs  I don't
have an FAR/AIM book handy. Anyone know??
