We are extremely lucky that our little beloved airplanes fall in the
lower price bracket for similliar aircraft. That article wrote last year
summed it up with the opening phrase: "ercoupe pilots smile alot". I think
alot can be said for the folks that used to fly one and sold it, but still
speak so fondly of it. Everywhere you go people will tell you about "the one
that sat in a corner at the flight school / Flying club that no-one ever
rented until one day..." or "their first ride was in an Ercoupe in the old
days".
As for me... I know it aint fast, and I know it aint acrobatic, but
dammit, it IS a convertible w/ class, and you get alot of fun for your money.
