I know you guys are not gonna believe this, but at the Sun-N-Fun air show on Monday, a guy was flying a PURE JET powered "Pitts Special" He would come across the field very low with the prop engine, then pull up 90 degrees, as soon as the speed dropped, he cut in the jet engine and went through 5,00 feet in seconds! He had it mounted under the belly and cut it in as he needed extra power. I am not much into the air show stuff, but that was a sight I will not forget!
