         I see you think you had some carb ice the other day. You lost
only 100 RPM. Mine just stops with virtually no warning. Carb heat
always brings it back to life instantly. The heart rate is not so fast
to return to normal. You may have noticed that I have commented on a
possible solution to this ice problem. I'm working on a system to
introduce a little warm  air before the carb that is controlable,
combined with a carb ice gauge. Hopefully, watching the carb temp and
regulating needed heat I can solve the age old ercoupe carb ice bug.
I'll let you know how it works when I get all the bits in place.
