I use PRC all the time for installing panels and radomes on bizjets and
turboprops. Sure, it'll last a while if you buy it by the small can, with
the two components separate, the curing agent in a small plastic jar on
top,
you can mix as much as you need and use it, sort of like "Bondo" auto body
filler. We don't usually use the canned type though, but rather the
plastic
hard "tubes" which have a "mixing plunger" which can be connected to a
hand
drill or drill press and spun to mix the entire tube very completely (and
that's a good idea). We have a small applicator device that makes this
package into an (air hose) powered applicator device to make professional
looking seams and fill lines very easily, smoothly and uniformly. It
probably cost a little more initially, but if your time is worth anything
(or your paying somebody to use it), it's actually more cost effective.

It does have a shelf life, so it don't pay to be stingy with it, since it
will probably be outdated the next time you need it. We keep it in a
refrigerator to help the shelf life along. There are different types and
cure times available. B 1/2 (which is a common type number for the panel
sealant we use) sets up a hard skin in a couple of hours or so at room
temperatures, longer if cold. It should cure 12 hours or so before flight
if it is used for a pressurization seal or something other than cosmetic.

We usually use the Seal-Pak brand, which comes from Wichita, Kansas. I am
not at work, so I don't have any numbers.

Here's a contact I found on the web; http://www.bergdahl.com/PS-895.htm.
