Rick, My Coupe would always over flow the header tank while on the
ground. Apparently the fuel pump
would pump more fuel than the return line will handle at the low power
ground maneuvering speeds. It
would also over flow while on final approach, at low throttle, higher RPM
speeds. I just got into the
habit of turning off the wing tanks when in those situations. Never would
over flow while in flight
conditions. Never did forget to turn it back on either, as when the
header gauge starts to drop, it
becomes a reality check.
