Thanks, for the info on the EOC members here in NC. I did send in my check to the EOC on the day I brought her home (Dec 1)but I haven't heard anything back yet, should be anytime now. I never owned a Model A, but did own an MGB and a Triumph Spitfire, so I should fit right in. ;-) For insurance, I went with AUA out of Greensboro, NC. As a student Pilot, I don't think I'd get a real good rate anywhere, but it's $1350 for the first year, but next year with my private ticket and no claims, it will drop 35% to $877.00 . I don't have any previous experience in this area, but I am sure I'll shop it around when renewal time comes. But I chose AUA based on a recommendation from another aircraft owner that uses them.
