I have noticed that he paint on my fabric wings is starting to look shabby. It has seconite wings that were done in '92 and seem to be in very good shape. The coupe was always hangared. Since then, I have added a landing light in the wing and it seems to be needing a paint job. The wings are painted a metallic silver color. The log books say all I need to know about the covering process but not the type of paint used. My question is: What paint should I use? Would it be best to get someone to check the fabric before I paint it? What should I look out for when doing it myself. I have a compressor, paint gun and have done plenty of industrial painting before. What was the name of the guy that had the shop in Terrel TX that gave the seminar on wing covering?
