Are you sure it was the Ceconite, and not Polyfiber? Just checking,
because
during my last annual I removed a 6 inch circle of doped fabric that
wasn't
very well attatched (it was in a harmless area - hangar rash).  An AP
thought mine was Ceconite. He might have tried actually  looking in the
logs), and used all the wrong materials. My repair was also much cleaner
than his work.

Make sure you have the right process before you start. Rather than
painting,
I'd rejuvinate (with the proper rejuvinating product for the covering
material) the wings, and use either dope or Polyspray depending on what
you
have.

I personally don't match care for paint on fabric. It has a cool "wet"
look,
but I don't think it holds up.

You can't rejuvinate paint!
