Alan, here's the home page for Ceconite: http://www.ceconite.com/ Are you sure it was the Ceconite, and not Polyfiber? Just checking, because during my last annual I removed a 6 inch circle of doped fabric that wasn't very well attatched (it was in a harmless area - hangar rash). An AP thought mine was Ceconite. He might have tried actually looking in the logs), and used all the wrong materials. My repair was also much cleaner than his work. Make sure you have the right process before you start. Rather than painting, I'd rejuvinate (with the proper rejuvinating product for the covering material) the wings, and use either dope or Polyspray depending on what you have. I personally don't match care for paint on fabric. It has a cool "wet" look, but I don't think it holds up. You can't rejuvinate paint! JMHO - some smart person please add comment. Regards, Artie PS Another AP who was not cheap put automotive fuel hose in my aircraft. ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
