Bill; Thanks for the tip on where to get the sealing tape. I believe that Alon Mandatory Service Bulletin # 16 was issued to solve the problem with fuel coming out of the wing tank caps during climb out. It changed the vent system and the fuel caps. It may be worth checking your log books and aircraft to see if it was accomplished. Alon Mandatory Service bulletin # 19 was issued to solve the problem of the engine losing power (or quitting) on climb out or certain attitudes. This also modified the fuselage tank and lines.
