AVweb's Howard Fried's article at http://www.avweb.com/toc/columns.html in part talks about yet another owner of the type certificate. It turns out Forney went belly up and the City of Carlsbad owned the operation with the name Air Products Inc. So the 25 Forney's built in '60, '61 & '62 were actually manufactured by "Air Products". For one little plane, it sure has a lot of history. Dick in NM.
