Sometimes a little righteous indignation is called for. I can't blame Ron for his choice of words.
I certainly agree with the importance of good manners, but I don't know what else you call an organization that charges a premium price for something as important as a new wing, and you have to sift through 12 or 14 of them to find a good one. That's poorer odds than the junkyard! For new! Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, but when things reach a certain level, I don't know by what other name you call it. I guess it's certainly unfair to label every person at a company a "Bozo", but somewhere there is definately a real "clown" making these decisions, and running QA. You can't deal with someone who just doesn't care, and they don't deserve our business. What we really need is a "Fred Weick Foundation" holding the TC.
