I talked to Bob White yesterday about the 31 orders I had for the baggage kit. Bob White said they only had enough "new old stock" to build 16 units for $350.00 each. The remaining 15 units would require them to go back into production and start from scratch. These 15 kits would cost $400.00 each. ANY KITS after this would cost $485 each. I told Bob that UNIVAIR told me,(which I still have on my e-mail) that the MINIMUM order from us would be 11 kits. There was no mention to a UPPER limit! I told him they should honor the entire order for the 31 units for $350.00 each. Unfortunately UNIVAIR is holding four aces and we have four duces. This was rejected. I said this placed me in a very bad light with the people I took orders from and I did not know what to do other than cancel the entire order and refund their checks. This did not bother UNIVAIR a bit! They are VERY BUSY and can barely get orders out on time now. Canceling our $10,850.00 order meant nothing. I made the decision that I would use the postmark on the envelopes as the method of choosing who would get the 16 kits at $350.00. The remaining 15 have three options as I see it. [1]Cancel their order and send return check back. [2] Send me a new check for $400.00 made out to UNIVAIR. (I will shred the old one) [3] Send me an ADDITIONAL check to attach to the first check for $50.00 made out to UNIVAIR. REMEMBER ANY KITS AFTER (17 through 31) are going to cost $485.00 each and you will deal with UNIVAIR on your own.

The kits will be shipped from UNIVAIR , Freight COLLECT. The remaing 16 people need to get back to me as soon as possible. Any complaints should be vented with UNIVAIR. Wayne and I have done our very best and should not be held responsible for someone elses decision which is beyond our control. I will be most happy to answer any questons, if you are not clear on the what you should do.
