Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows if it is normal to have to file cyl.
base
wrenches down to get them to fit? I am only used to the internal Lycoming
type which are a whole lot better. I just got these wrenches from
Wag-Aero
and there is no way they will fit between the nut and barrel as they are
too
thick. Neat thing about my plane - in 1979, they put on all yellow tagged
accesories, prop, etc. Yet all it says about the engine - "removed and
painted engine" I guess they did one hell of a job masking off all those
nuts
and bolts and cylinder bases then since they are not painted. Uh-huh.
Nothing
like an unlogged major overhaul to worry a fellow. Glen
