Esteemed Coupers: I am rebuilding the side windows and have a couple of questions. 1. My old ones are about 31.5" long; my new lexan is cut to 32" Will this extra half inch cause the windows to not slide all the way down, or is there some extra room at the bottom of the tracks. (I'd measure it up myself, but my plane is a fair hike from my basement workshop - about 300 miles. Long story.) 2. Mr Abrams wrote that on his windows, the bottom stiffener with the rounded edge goes to the inside. Is this the way they all are? I would have assumed that the rounded edge would be to the outside to carry water to the tracks and reduce the chances of soaking the side panels. What?
