I have a friend here in Amarillo that is an A,I. He is slow, and expernsive, and meticulas, and in my books worth every penny he charges for work on our planes. I cant afford to use him much, but I believe him to be honest and
caring. He charges big bucks, and has big responsibilities. I also drink coffee with him often, and he is a regular guy. Not all aircraft mechanics are bad. I have received many many hundreds of dollars worth of free education for the asking. He can tell you lots of tricks to diagnose your own problems if you can give him the symptoms.
