I would like to share my screw up on pressurizing fuel tanks. I was pressurizing a motorcycle tank without using a good regulator to do it. I got the pressure just a "tiny" bit too high and CRUNCH the tank looked like some sort of toad stool.
If you multiply the surface area of the fuel tank by say 5 lbs per sq inch, that's a tremendous force. It could blow an end out with deadly force. One suggestion of a ballon on the outlet was good. A quality regulator to hold the pressure to 0.5 lbs per sq inch might work. Good luck.
