I would like to share my screw up on pressurizing fuel
tanks. I was pressurizing a motorcycle tank without using a
good regulator to do it. I got the pressure just a "tiny" bit
too high and CRUNCH the tank looked like some sort of
toad stool.

If you multiply the surface area of the fuel tank by say 5 lbs per sq
inch, that's a tremendous force. It could blow an end out with deadly
force.

One suggestion of a ballon on the outlet was good. A quality regulator
to hold the pressure to 0.5 lbs per sq inch might work.

Good luck.
