Thank you. That might be a good place to start. I know that you have been a very firm supporter of the Coupes and I gather from some of the other responses that people are beginning to see the need to have control of the proper long term support for all Coupes. It is easiest to do that if you hold the type certificate and have a loyal group who will all work hard to see that we all get to enjoy our Coupes for many years to come. I have seen much bickering on this list and some that was just grumpy old men. If we can get past that and get a team together that will put aside there own issues and all work hard for the good of Coupes we too can do what the Luscombe group has done. Yes it takes some real money!! But what is more important is leadership and a firm team goal. There are people in the Coupe owners and lovers who would be willing to invest in the project. There are ways to get grants, some small some larger, for good aviation related projects. We can stand at Oshkosh with "Tin Cups" if that is what it takes. The big groups like EAA and AOPA may be able to help with Washington assistance. This would not be the first time that a worthy "Pork Barrel Project" got some funding from the U. S. Government. Perhaps even the "Aviation Trust Fund", what better use for it. Where there is a strong will there will be a way. First we need leadership and as much as I respect the EOC and know that their role has been somewhat different it is time for some leadership and some progress or we will not have parts or wings for our Coupes at the rate we are going. I am open to all suggestion that may make it possible to "Keep them Coupes Flying" for a long time. Yes I would be willing to put money into a well thought out project, who else will come and stand with me?
