Try to get ones for the wingtips.   Mine has a single one on the belly and
I
am always a bit concerned due to tank seepage/corrosion x down in there.
I
never have flown with mine on even at night.  I don't even have a landing
light.  I doubt that you have to have a strobe.  Nobody has ever said

    It's been a long time since I did it, but I remember that night
flying was an absolute rush.  Nothing like flying night over the city
lights.  Back when I was single, it was the ultimate date.  Talk about
impressive.  "Hey Babe, wanna fly high tonight?"  I'd like to do it
again, but, my Coupe don't have a strobe or beacon.  It does however
have all the rest of the nav lights.  The question is, is there a
regulation that absolutely requires a strobe or beacon?  I'd like to put
a strobe on her.  What's the easiest way to proceed?
