Mine is not held on by straps, rather it has a piece of aluminum angle
riveted across the rear bottom of the tank and bolted to the bulkhead.
The
front part rests on an aluminum angle shelf.  I can't figure out how this
could have sagged because it is very rigid.  I think maybe the whole plane
is just bent, though I never noticed any flying problems.  It has a patch
and some serious wrinkles behind the nosewheel and on the sides and belly,
I
think somebody folded it.  Not sure if it could actually bend that much,
