Does anybody have actual engine out no-wind glide ratio numbers?

With the modern GPS technology, I'm hoping someone has tried it out and
gotten extemely accurate results.

This information I'm sure you'll agree is nice to have in your back
pocket.
If you lose one, and your GPS says 10 miles to the nearest airport, (The
Garmin GPS Map 195 gives you the top ten nearest fields, bearing and
distance) and you're at 5000 ft AGL, it would be real nice to know if you
can get 2 miles per thousand.
Then again, if you have a GPS, some quick mental gymnastics should tell
you
whether or not your going to make it under any given conditions. If the
GPS
says 8 minutes to go, and your decending at say 800 fpm (just a W.A.G.),
and
you're at 5000' AGL, you should lose about 6400' over those 8
minutes....hmm... find the nearest road, throw the GPS overboard, and
concentrate. Even if the GPS says you'll make it at 5000', the winds
aloft
may shift on your way down and you might be surprised later on, so it pays
to keep an eye on your progress.

Disclaimer: I am not advocating someone turning off their fan to get these
numbers. But if someone already has, it would be nice if they would share
with the rest of the list.
