As I contemplate replacement of my window welts, I see why I am having to to do so. The window frames were bolted to the side windows with some slightly raggedy screw ends sticking out.
Is it normal to use machine screws there, or is it really supposed to be riveted with nice flat smooth rivets? Any tips on removing the side windows without messing them up? Mine are fairly new. Looks to me like to get to the whole channel, one has to pull the seat out and then remove some interior pieces which are attached behind the upholstry. Am I right?
